Championship Quick Facts
FORMAT: All players will play 18-holes of stroke play on Monday, August 1st and Tuesday, August 2nd. Tee times will run from 7:00am – 12:40pm both days. All players for Tuesday's round by score, with the leaders going off last. There will be an awards ceremony and trophy presentation following the conclusion of play on Tuesday at approximately 5:00pm.
ELIGIBILITY: The Stan Trojanowski Northern Junior is open to amateur Boys and Girls who have not reached their 19th birthday before August 2nd, 2011, and who have not entered their first year of college
PAR AND YARDAGE: Ellington Ridge Country Club will play at 6591 yards for the Boys Championship and 5467 yards for the Girls Championship and a par of 36-36–72.
WHAT’S AT STAKE: In addition to national exposure to college coaches across the country, both the Boys and Girls Champion will numerous tournament exemptions. The Boys Champion will receive invites to the International Junior Masters (Aurora, NY), Bobby Chapman Invitational (Spartenburg, SC) and Joe Cheves Junior (Morganton, NC). Additionally, the Boys Champion will receive 2 AJGA exemptions, and the Boys top 5 will receive 1 AJGA exemption. The Girls Champion will also receive an invitation to the Joe Cheves Junior (Morganton, NC) and 1 AJGA Exemption, and the Girls top 3 will receive 1 AJGA Performance Star.
